Not Feeling So Hot!!!

To be truthful he has actually been very hot over the past few days, temperature wise. Since Monday Christopher has been trying to fight off his first illness from daycare. He started with upper respiratory infection, and pink eye. Assuming he was getting better we sent him back to daycare on Thursday. That night however he started throwing up, not to mention the 102.1 fever.

Jeff stayed home with him today, since I had already missed two days this week. Christopher ended up sleeping most of the day, and was not in the mood for much of anything. Mom took us all out to dinner (because Aunt Gloria was here), and Christopher fussed through most of the meal. Even with his fussiness we still managed to enjoy some great down-home (Paula Dean) cooking at Uncle Bubba's.

Jacob's birthday is tomorrow. It's hard to believe that he is six years old. I can still remember when he was a toddler (much chunkier than Christopher) waddling around the house. He now has a mouth that gets him into as much trouble as what I used to get into. I on the other hand never got in trouble at school. I can only hope that he becomes and amazingly smart boy that can do anything he ever dreamed of. He gets to celebrate his birthday tomorrow at Chucky Cheeses with friends from school, and all of us.

So please just keep Christopher in your thoughts that he might get over this soon. Also keep us in your thoughts tomorrow while dealing with 12 kids at the best place to be a kid ;)
