Last weekend we took Christopher to the mall to hang out for the day. They have a new carousel and train in the mail, and a soft play area where kids can play while parents watch. Christopher LOVES the soft play area (and I love not having to worry about him busting open a lip every time he trips!)

18 Month Check
Christopher had his 18 month check-up on the 20th. There were a few concerns (especially since he has been sick off and on over the past 2 months). His weight is getting closer to a child his age, were bouncing back and forth between 30 pounds and 28. This puts him in about the 85th percentile. His height is still off the charts. He is now as tall as a 3 year old a whopping 36 inches. Dr. Stone put him on 20 day's of antibiotics, and if this doesn't knock out his infection we have to go to a specialist.
On a lighter note, Dr. Stone moved into a new building.... IT IS AMAZING!!!!! Each room has a different theme (our was a dinosaur), with matching exam tables. His wife did an amazing job with decoration and designing (as she took two months and did it HERSELF!!!). We were so lucky to find this pediatrician, and would recommend him to anyone!!!!

Oatland
Ok, so i have been slacking on getting these pictures published. The slide below is from Oatland Island here in Savannah. We took Jacob and Christopher to the wildlife reserve to look at the animals (and for a VERY long nature hike!). My fav. picture is the one of Jacob sitting on an egg :)

Waiting....
....I know I have checked my phone at least a hundred times today (not to mention pulling up the St.Joe/Candler website to look for my lab results) in hopes of getting any sort of news. I thought waiting a week to find out if I have the big "C" would be a snap (most of our patients wait much longer for surgery on painful body parts). I however was completely mistaken.
A week ago Wednesday I got a call from Dr. MacIntosh (my O.B.) telling me that my pap test in NOVEMEBER was read incorrectly by someone at the lab. This person was fired for not reporting a serious problem on someone else's slide, which is how mine got re-read.
I saw Dr. Mac yesterday and a series of not so gentle biopsies were preformed (even with valium in my system.) She said not to worry until we know more, but the look on her face told me something completely different. That is the look we give patients we bring into the room after having a CT or MRI and we find Cancer cells. I'm not too fond of that look.
On a lighter note, Jeff informed me that Valium + me is a funny combination.
The pictures of Christopher, Mimi, and PawPaw below I took today. Enjoy....
